Turning Over & Into

I'm sitting on the edge of the world

dangling precariously

upon a twist of Light

crescent up

bending a new phase

back into itself

For I love the dark

especially when it is the only place to go

And I prize the light even more

when that illumination within

kindles

So let's shine up

in declaration of Light

both inside and out

pointed and vast

sacred and wasted

transparent and mysterious

shared and deeply personal

Let's light up our world

like never before

and yet exactly once again

Soulfully, brilliantly, fateful

as the abating moon

Let's blaze upon the New Year!

And I know that you are also turning over and into ~

And I am brighter because you are here!
